XimenaFilms is an Independent film company created by Ximena Pereira, for the purpose of producing and distributing Art House films. Her short films have received funding from the Venezuela National Film Center and has been sold to the brazilian and spanish television. Her work has been backed up by Distribution companies both in Venezuela and Chile. We are currently working on the documentary short film "The Broken Goddess" distribution and the documentary feature film "A Garden of Two Lands" Development stage.

XimenaFilms produces autobiographical creative documentaries that connect with the spiritual world, the one we know exists but don't always perceive. Mythology, magical acts, and rituals intertwine to showcase two Latin American countries: Chile and Venezuela.

 

Chile is the author's country of birth and current residence, while Venezuela is the country of her childhood and youth, the country of inspiration.

 

Our current projects are co-productions between Chile and Venezuela.

 

Migration is undoubtedly a recurring theme in our production.
